I Will Never Forget
by Frezar Manasseh
I will never forget
Oh! Climbing the mountain
Indeed I will not
How difficult is it?
To climb Mulanje Mountain
Oh! It is hard indeed
Surely I will never forget climbing the mountain
I will never forget.
Absolutely, I will not, enjoying ourselves together with Scottish
people, with their students
Oh, my god I will not. This is fantastic
It is great indeed to be with you
at the summit of mountain
Indeed it’s incredible to plant cedar trees
together at the very top of Mulanje Mountain
Oh! I remember Luchenya Hut
The coolest hut in Mulanje Mountain
So great I enjoyed
It is really a charming place.
I will never forget the Scottish people
Especially student from Fortrose
Oh! Ah! Thus my tears flooding down like
Likliubula River coming out from Mulanje Mountain
All this is crying for your love.
Smiling at each other, working together, playing together,
sharing ideas, I will never forget you surely.
I will miss your lovely accent, smiling faces.
How will I forget you?
How can I forget? Thus my tears rolling down
my cheeks when thinking about Scotland.
I remember dancing together, singing, eating
and friendly interaction.
This strengthening our relationship
and bringing unity between Malawi and Scotland.
Am saying with my broken heart
Indeed I will never you
May God bless us all.
Thanks (Zikomo)
