who?
The 2015 expedition will consist of the following members: 18 Fortrose Academy pupils from S3 to S6; 2 Fortrose Academy teachers; 1 former pupil; 2 parents of former expedition members; 2 former Academy Head Teachers and 1 engineer, from Mott Macdonald. Here are the Fortrose Academy pupil members.
where?
In the summer of 2015 a group of 18 young people and their mentors will head to Malawi for a two-week expedition. Their main base will be the Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) in Mulanje. This page introduces you to the main purpose of the trip, the expedition members, some of the Malawi partners as well as some reflections from previous participants.

- HIV & Aids peer education - an important part of the visit is that everyone will be teamed up with a local young person for the duration of the visit;
- Leading educational activities with local children, in the local school;
- Cultural exchange activities with the Mulanje Youth Group;
- Meeting Linda’s Fund bursary students and finding out how the bursary has benefited them;
- An ascent of Mount Mulanje.
